Hi, I’m Patrizia 👋 the founder of Incontro Events.

I started Incontro because I know first-hand how hard it can be to truly connect with people as adults. So many of the best events seem to be in London, but for those of us living in Hertfordshire, it often means commuting or settling for very little happening locally.

I want to change that.

I’m a passionate connector at heart, I’ve built a career in UX (user experience), which is all about understanding people, and I’ve always believed that life is richer when we create spaces where people can genuinely meet, talk, laugh, and build relationships.

Whether it’s for love, friendship, or simply widening your circle, we all crave those real-life moments that apps and swipes can’t replace.

With Incontro (Italian for “meeting”), I wanted to bring a fresh approach: beautifully curated dating events and social mixers for ambitious, warm, like-minded professionals who want more than just another night in the pub. Events that feel fun, stylish, and intentional.

For me, it’s not just about organising events, it’s about building a community where people feel they belong. That’s why I started Incontro, and I can’t wait to welcome you to one of our events soon.
